As a Student Representative for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, my role involved representing students at industry events, guiding peers on how to effectively navigate their pathways into the accounting profession. I hosted specialised events at Monash University and the University of Melbourne, where I delivered engaging presentations on the strategic use of LinkedIn, career readiness, and tips on becoming attractive to potential employers. My goal was always to simplify the transition for students entering the accounting field and support their professional development.
